James Chamels Wilcher

James Chamels Wilcher passed away February 4, 2023. He was born Sept 7, 1931 in Vidalia, Georgia to James and Geneva Wilcher.

Honey, Dad and Pawpaw were the highest honors bestowed upon him.  He loved his family more than anything in this world.  He was preceded in death by his “Honey” Bobbie Nell Wilcher and his son Jim Chamels Wilcher.  

He is survived by children, David Wilcher, Todd Wilcher and wife Cindy, Tina McLelland and husband Hal; grandchildren, Angie Dean and husband Josh, Shawn Wilcher, Chad Wilcher and wife LeAnn, Scott Wilcher, Travis Wilcher and wife Kirsten, Tyler McLelland and wife Savanah, and Hayden McLelland; and numerous great grandchildren.

He loved to hunt, fish, farm, tinker, tell “Big Fish” stories, drink coffee and Dr.  Pepper. He will be missed dearly, but we know that he was met at the gates of heaven by his Honey and son whole and healed.
