Zona Louella Smith

Zona Louella Smith, 98, passed away December 28, 2011 at her home in Mineral Wells. She was born January 20, 1913 in Round Timbers, Texas the daughter of W. D. and Della Hamby Sidwell. She married W. E. Smith on December 17, 1932 in Mineral Wells. She was a longtime resident of Mineral Wells and a member of Rock Creek Road Baptist Church. She always had a good garden which many people knew her by. Services will be 10 AM Saturday, December 31, 2011 at Rock Creek Road Baptist Church with Rev. Gary Richardson officiating. Burial will follow in Staggs Prairie Cemetery. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law: Della and Darrell Lewallen of Mineral Wells, granddaughters and spouses: Cindy and Doyle Maness of Mineral Wells, Kim and Chuck Mills of Brenham, Tina and Johnny Romines of Mineral Wells, great-grandchildren and spouses: Jeff and Janna Maness, Amy Maness, Shauna Aubry, Ginger and Jason Bishop, Carl and DaVonda Wallace, Chuckie Mills, Jared and Tacy Self, Jacob Self, and 22 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband on May 19, 1991, parents, grandson: Jamie Maness, brother: Joe, and sisters: Arvetta, Eloise, and Iola.
