She married Jodie Martin Emberlin in 1940. They moved to Mineral Wells from Bennett in 1943 and she lived in Mineral Wells for the remainder of her life. In her later years, going to Jack-in-the-Box for coffee was the highlight of her day. She had many friends there and never missed a day as long as she could still drive. Her sense of humor and bubbling personality will be missed by all. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jodie Emberlin, and a grandson, Thomas Scott, her parents, sisters and brothers. Survivors include: her daughter, Rickie Ann Eichler, Kerrville; her son and daughter-in- law, Danny and Mary Emberlin, Kerrville; grandson Dave Eichler and wife, Rosie, San Antonio; granddaughters Ravan Powell and Brandy Gallop, Mena, Arkansas; nine great grandchildren, close friend Maribel Cortes, and many other friends.
