Yvonne Cecilia Wilcox

Yvonne Cecilia Wilcox passed away in a Fort Worth hospital on December 22, 2011. Yvonne was born on September 10, 1945 in Dimmitt, Texas to Andrew and Oleda Heiman-Schumacher. She married Bob Wilcox on October 27, 1966 and together they raised one son, Justin Ty Wilcox.Yvonne requested no funeral services, a celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Yvonne was the 2ndVice President in the American Legion Auxiliary and an active board member for the Mineral Wells Senior Center. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made in Yvonne's memory to the Mineral Wells Senior Center at 102 NW 6th Avenue, Mineral Wells, TX 76067.Yvonne is survived by her husband of almost 45 years Bob Wilcox, son Ty Wilcox and wife Chasity; grandsons Ryan, Sam & Jake Wilcox of Mineral Wells, TX; mother Oleda Schumacher of Tulia, TX; sister Charlotte Rentfro of Purcell, OK ; sister Nan and husband Duane Davis of Tulia, TX, brother Glenn Schumacher and wife LaCrecia of Plainview, TX and brother Randy Schumacher and wife Debbie of Yates Center, KS; mother-in-law Christell Wilcox of Dimmitt, TX and brother-in-law Stanley Wilcox and wife Linda of Easter, TX; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great nephews.
