Jean Rogers, 65, went home to be with her Lord and family on Monday evening, January 26, 2009 at her home in Ballew Springs.Service is 2 p.m. Sunday, February 1st, at Ballew Springs Baptist Church with Pastor Greg Willis officiating; interment to immediately follow in the Ballew Springs Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Saturday at Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Home.Wyvonne Jean Watson Rogers was born March 17, 1943 in Mineral Wells, the youngest daughter of William Oran and Ester Nina Andrews Watson. She married the love of her life, Jimmy L. Rogers, on July 14, 1962. Together, Jean and Jimmy raised three daughters and owned and operated two successful businesses. Jean was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She put her whole, loving heart into her family, her friends and her church; she served her Lord and those she loved with total selflessness and devotion. She will be missed by all who were blessed to know her.She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Jimmy L. Rogers; daughters, Leah Gillespie and husband, Bruce, and Tammy Rogers; grandchildren, Marissa Matthews, Jimmy Gillespie, Sydney Gillespie, Zach James, Alexandra James and Trinity Leitgeb; great-granddaughter, Kaydence Matthews; sister, Nina Garland; mother-in-law, Lillie Mae Perritt; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and a host of loving friends.Jean was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Ester Watson, and her middle daughter, Trela Kaye Rogers.
