Wilson Blocker

Wilson Wayne Blocker 73 of Mineral Wells passed away on March 26, 2014. Born in Perrin, Texas the son of Tom and Vernon (Savell) Blocker. Wayne grew up in Salesville and the Graford area. He was a "Jack of all Trades" and good at all of them he set out to do. He sold cars in Weatherford and in Abilene, was a manager of Goodyear in Weatherford, and also owned Blockers Bargain Barn. He is survived by wife Charlsie Blocker of Mineral Wells; children: Wayne Jr. and wife Susan Blocker of Abilene, Tony and wife Myrna Blocker of Weatherford, Suzie and husband Terry Martin of Mineral Wells, Kim of Dublin, Julie Ann of Granbury, Dee Dee Lanier and Stacy Beers; grandchildren: Cody, Justin, Tacy, Katie, J.J., Courtney, Kayleigh, Rachel, Samantha, Jake, Wes, Jessica, Stormy and Starla; 16 great-grandchildren; sisters; Rosie, Joy, Jaylene and Rita; brother: Gary Blocker, and many friends. He was preceded in death by parents, Tom and Vernon Blocker and sister, Elfreida Hinshaw. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday March 28, 2014 from 6-8p.m.; funeral service will be held at Mineral Wells Church of God on Saturday March 29, 2014 at 1p.m.; burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
