Willie R. Clemmer Jr.

Willie R. Clemmer Jr. 83 went to be with the Lord on August 16, 2014. Willie was born in Dallas, North Carolina on November 24 1930. A strong, loving and caring father, husband and grandfather; he was always there for his family. He enjoyed many things in life; sports, music, dancing, golf and most of all, family. Growing up in Roanoke Rapids, N.C. he met Agnes Elizabeth Manning. They married in 1952 before he entered the Air Force where he became a helicopter pilot. After his time in the Air Force they packed up and eventually ended up in Mineral Wells where he was a flight instructor for Southern Airways. Later he would continue as a pilot for PHI until his retirement. Agnes preceded him in death in November 2000. Willie is survived by his sons William Clemmer (Vicki Smith) of Mineral Wells, Tom and Patricia Clemmer of Bedford, Texas; daughters Cathy Bohannon (Lynn White) of Mineral Wells and Debbie and Larry Donaho of Alice, Texas . Grandad Willie will be missed by his six grandchildren: Meagan Clemmer St. Clair of San Antonio, Tricia Bohannon Combs of El Paso, Chase and Kristen Bohannon of Keller, Michael Clemmer of North Lake, Steven Clemmer of Bedford and Sarah Donaho of Alice; two great-grandsons, Isaiah St. Clair and David Zwiener of San Antonio. The family will be providing a memorial service in remembrance of Willies life on Sunday August 24, 2014 3:00 P.M. at First United Methodist Church.
