WIlliam "Steve" Nixon

William “Steve” Nixon, born in Glasgow Scotland on September 29, 1944 died peacefully at home on September 7th in Mineral Wells, Texas. Steve is best remembered as the owner of Japanese Auto Service and Repair from 1981 to 2011. He was preceded in death by his parents, W.W. “Tex” and Diana Nixon.

Survived by his wife of 51 years, Jane Renner Nixon; daughters and their spouses, Jennifer and Alan Petry of The Colony, Christy and Jamey Pinkston of Stephenville, and Michelle and Brad Hudson of Fort Worth; grandchildren, Pierce Petry and wife Amy, Austin Hudson, Jordan Petry, Morgan Pinkston, and Samantha Hudson. He is also survived by brothers Roger Nixon of Ohio and Chris & Li Nixon of Virginia.

A Celebration of Life is scheduled for 2 p.m., Saturday, September 19th at Baum-Carlock-Baumgardner Funeral Home in Mineral Wells, Texas.
