William McCracken

William Henry McCracken, age 68, passed away on Monday, January 13,2014 at Palo Pinto General Hospital in Mineral Wells, Texas. He was born on March 26,1945 in Childress, Texas, the son of the late John George and Lucille Shackelford McCracken. Henry was a resident of Possum Kingdom Lake for 30 years, Henry owned Lil Mac Construction, P. K. Concrete and McCracken Boat Storage. His health forced him to retire four years ago. Henry married Jackie Nichols April 1, 1962. Henry married his present wife Ruth Fields Sinclair McCracken in September 17, 1975. Henry is survived by one daughter, Teresa Kabe of Flagstaff, Arizona, step daughters Brenda Sinclair Whitmire, P. K. Lake, Jennifer Sinclair Marlar and hus-band Jeff of Pampa, Texas. Step sons Brent Sinclair of Panhandle, Tx. and Earl Sinclair, wife Diane, of Panhandle, Tx. Grandchildren Candy (Phillip) Hanson, and 4 great grandchildren, Brittany Kabe and Lindsey (Anthony) Channey and great grandson Thomas. David Hacker, Tanner Sinclair, Shayla Sinclair, Austin (Cady)Sinclair, and Kylin Sinclair. One brother John (Jannet) McCracken and many nieces and nephews and cousins. Henry was preceded in death by his parents, one son Jeffrey Thomas McCracken in 1992, an infant granddaughter and a sister, Brenda McCracken Hardegree. Memorial services will be held at the House of Praise Senior Center, Possum Kingdom Lake on Friday, January 17,2014 at 2:00 p.m. Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner funeral home is in charge of cremation. The family suggest memorials to the Possum Kingdom EMT's , PO Box 345, Graford, Tx. 76449. The P. K. EMT's and Henry had a close relationship!
