William R. "Bill" Keller, 88, passed away March 4, 2017 in Fort Worth. He was born December 21, 1928 in Ardmore, Oklahoma, the son of James Grover and Margaret Anderson Keller. Bill married Reveta Griffin on January 26, 1951 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. He was a veteran of the US Army in the 82nd Airborne Infantry Division, a 32nd Degree Mason for more than 50 years and a Shriner. He graduated from Oklahoma A & M (Oklahoma State University) in 1953 with a Bachelor's of Science in Geology. After graduating, Bill worked in the oilfields as a geologist until going into the Sonic Drive In business. After selling his Sonic businesses he went to work for Brazos River Gas Company where he retired. Services will be 10 AM Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at First United Methodist Church of Mineral Wells. Burial will follow in Woodland Park Cemetery. Visitation is Monday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. He is survived by his sister: Ada Speairs of Fort Worth, children: Kathy Keller of Fort Worth, Kim Broom and husband David of Willow Park, Karl Keller and wife Jackie of Weatherford, 3 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Reveta, of 53 years. The family wishes to thank Vitas Hospice for their compassion and wonderful care of their father. They also wish to thank his caregivers at Brookdale Westover Hills (Clare Bridge).
