William Allen Hightower, 49 years old, born in Fort Worth, Texas on August 24, 1975 He was raised by his loving mother, Tina Elizabeth Winkler, alongside his two siblings, Renee Prince and Donnie Harwell. On October 12, 2008, he married his beloved wife, Rebecca Hightower, and together they welcomed two wonderful sons, William and Gabriel Hightower. He also cherishes his close nieces, Kloe Poston and Cera Prince, along with numerous nephews. William was the cornerstone of the family, consistently radiating his positivity. He always had the solutions to the challenges we faced.
He joined the National Guard on August 26, 2002, and quickly took on the role of a tanker in combat, fighting alongside his closest friends. He served valiantly until his retirement on June 13, 2010.
While enjoying life with his cherished family, he received a devastating diagnosis of stage 4 cancer. For three challenging years, he bravely fought against the disease. After initially overcoming it, he was recently faced with a new diagnosis of cancer and liver failure. He put up a strong fight for a long time, but ultimately, the Lord called him home sooner than expected.
He will always be remembered and deeply missed as we carry on the life he passionately advocated for us. His light will keep shining down on us from the heavens above.
