William Lamar "SonShine" Hibbitts IV 29 of Fort Worth passed away at a Mansfield Hospital. He was born in Mineral Wells the son of William Lamar Hibbitts III and Tina Landrum. William had a very colorful personality; this helped him in his businesses; such as being a barber or in the construction clean up industry. With this personality he had, you could always count on a smile coming from his face. He loved to play pranks on friends, and didn't mind getting pranks played on him. William had a strong bond with the Lord; he loved discussing scripture readings in the Bible with his mother. He enjoyed sending loved ones text messages with quotes to inspire or help cheer them up, and would follow up with something funny. He will be missed dearly by all who loved him and knew him. Survivors are mother, Tina Landrum; sisters, Teanna and husband Jeremy Revelle , Shawnia and Brittney Hibbitts; grandparents, W.L. and Jesse Seager; special nephew Beck; and his uncle who was like a brother to him, Robert Mericle along with many aunts, uncles, nephews and friends. He was preceded by his father, William Hibbitts III, grandmother Margaret Hibbitts and grandmother Nancy Matthis. Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday September 5, 2012 from 6-8 P.M. in the chapel; the service will be on Thursday the 6th at 2:30 P.M. at Christ the King Covenant Church, burial will follow at Woodland Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Baum-Carlock Bumgardner to help with funeral arrangements.
