Born March 2, 1942 in Mineral Wells, Texas to Clyle Carr Eubanks and Reba Lea Dillard Eubanks. Graduated Mineral Wells High School 1960 US Army 1964 - 1966, Viet Nam Veteran. Married Lottie Maye Jordan on November 5, 1966 in Mineral Wells, Texas. Native Texan, product of Mineral Well public school system. Native of Palo Pinto County with ancestry dating back to the early 1850's. He graduated Weatherford College and attained his Bachelor degree in business from Tarleton State University in Stephenville, Texas. He also attained numerous credits in real estate while attending Tarleton. He was reared on a dairy farm in Palo Pinto and Parker Counties. He attained numerous credits in agriculture at Southwest Texas State University early in his college career and served various leadership positions of both 4H and Future Farmers of America to include President of both organizations during his school years where he was active in organized sports. He owns and operated a cow/calf operation on his home place. He was active in community activities where he has served in the Junior Chamber of Commerce, holding several offices, Palo Pinto Sheriff's Posse holding the Tallier Office (SecretaryTreasurer), Mineral Wells Crazy Festival chairing many committees including President, Mineral Wells Air Fair chairing several committees, Mineral Wells Housing Board, and the executive committee of Texas Frontier Trails. He served as President of the Palo Pinto Municipal Water District #1. He served as coach and umpire for Little League, Pony League, Teenage, and City Softball Leagues over the years. He was a Life Member of American Legion, and is a veteran of the Viet Nam war. He along with his wife owned several businesses based in the Mineral Wells area. At the time of his death he served as President of Century Flight Systems, Inc., a general aviation autopilot and instrument company. In 1984 he soloed the company's Piper Cherokee 180, one of the general aviation aircraft the company owned. He was a member of the General Aviation Manufacturers Association Flight Operations Policy Committee. He was an active member of the Mineral Wells Airport Board. William Clyle (Bill) Eubanks died while a patient at Plaza Medical Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas, on Monday, July 20, 2015 after a lengthy illness. Visitation will be at Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Home, Thursday, July23, 2015 from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral Services will be Friday, July 24, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. at Southside Church of Christ where he is a member. William Eudy will officiate assisted by Jerrell Tomlin. Burial will be Woodland Park Cemetery in Mineral Wells, Texas. He is survived by wife, Lottie; Niece, Joni Lea Brown Walker, Nephew, John Brown, Jr. (Jay). , Mother-in-law Mary Atkins Jordan, Sister-in-law Laverne Jordan Caudill, Brother-in-law George Michael Jordan and wife Tina, Nephews Chad Jordan and wife Cody, Adam Jordan and wife Vanessa, Nieces Debbye Caudill Mathews and Jeanne Caudill Siegel. Great nieces Roxanne Walker, Helen Walker, Tess Walker, Jayce Adcox Gonzales, Melody Jordan, Great-Nephews Chase Jordan, Joey Mathews, Evan Mathews, and Great-great nephews Hayden and Hudson Gonzales, Great-great niece Hadley Gonzales. Cousins Warren Dillard of The Woodlands, Texas, Karen Dillard Bluethman and husband Robert of Austin, Texas, Machelle Hill Vanacek and husband Benny of El Paso, Texas. Predeceased by his Father Clyle Eubanks, Mother Reba Eubanks, Sister Frances Lea Eubanks Brown, Father-in-law George Jordan, Niece Jatonne Caudill Adcox, Nephew Dick Siegel.
