William Burleson

William Darrell "W. D." Burleson, 76, of Oran, passed away Sunday, March 14, 2010 at his home. Funeral services will be 2 PM Wednesday at the Church of Christ in Graford. Larry Pratt will officiate at the service. Burial will be in the Oran Cemetery. W. D. was born October 14, 1933 in Palo Pinto County, TX the son of William Aaron and Katy Bell Monk Burleson. He married Martha Leach September 26, 1952 in Fort Worth. He worked for Bell Helicopter from 1963 until he retired in 1997 and attended the Church of Christ in Graford. Survivors include his wife Martha Burleson of Oran; sons and daughters-in-law, Randy Dale and Helen Burleson of Loving and William Clayton and Becky Burleson of Oran; daughter, Donna Presley of Graford; grandchildren, Aaron Glidewell, April Waters, Kandiss Redding, Stephen Burleson, Jeremy Burleson, Lacee Burleson and Eric Burleson; great-grandchildren, BradLee Glidewell, Tanner Waters, Conner Waters, Kowen Redding; brother, Dwight Burleson and his wife Jeanette of Fort Worth; two nephews and one niece.
