Wilburn Storm

On July 20, 2015, at the age of 86, Wilburn Leroy Storm went to his Heavenly reward. He was born on April 16, 1929 in Pickwick, Texas to Leroy "Buddy" Storm and Thyrza Mitchell Storm. Services will be 10 AM Saturday, July 25, 2015 in the Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Chapel. Burial will follow in Willow Pond Cemetery. Visitation is Friday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. The only son in a family of seven girls, he was preceded in death by his parents, and 4 sisters. He is survived by sisters: Pearl Gunn of Mineral Wells, Nancy Gipson of Central City Arkansas, and Sue Garner of Mineral Wells, children: Cindy Pierce and husband Bill of Jacksboro, Melissa Storm and husband Landes Anderson of Mineral Wells, Robin Storm Morris of Mineral Wells, and Jon Mark Storm and wife Trey of Haltom City, 7 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Wilburn was a long haul trucker who went coast to coast and Canada until he retired, but his heart and soul was pure cowboy. He will be missed by many, but he's still riding and roping, you just can't see him from the road.
