Wesley Davis Jr.

Mr. Wesley Davis Jr. was born March 3, 1941 to the late Estella Davis and Wesley Davis Sr. in Jackson, Mississippi, then later moved to Mineral Wells, Texas where he met his wife Ethel Davis. Wesley Davis Jr. was united in marriage to the late Ethel Davis on August 1, 1974. To this union four children, Larry Davis, Frederick Earl Davis, Shirley Kimbrough, and Odelle Davis were born. He was employed at Perry Equipment in Mineral Wells for 20 plus years. On August 16, 2011 at 2 AM Wesley Davis Jr. departed this life at Regency Hospital in Fort Worth. Services will be 2 PM Saturday, August 20, 2011 in the Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Chapel with Woody Morrison officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Park Cemetery. He leaves to cherish sisters: Vernell King of Mineral Wells, Ester Cotton of Mineral Wells, Inez McIntyre of Magee, Mississippi, brother: Booker T. Davis of Stephenville, and a host of grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father: Wesley Davis Sr., mother: Estella Davis, and brother: Willie B. Davis.
