Wayne Pruitt

Wayne Pruitt, 92 of Mineral Wells went to be with his Lord on February 23, 2011. He was the son of John and Matilda Scrogum Pruitt, born in Palo Pinto County. He served his country proudly in the Army during WWII and was disabled during the war. He married the love of his life Imogene Cooper in 1945 in San Antonio, Texas, and they were together for over 61 years. He was skilled in many trades but fell in love with ranching and was in the agriculture industry most of his life. He is survived by daughters, Beth and husband Danny Earl of Mineral Wells; Becky and husband Kent Ubil of Garland and Donna and husband Wayne Foskett of College Station, 5 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by parents, his wife Imogene, 2 sisters and 4 brothers. Visitation is at Baum Carlock Bumgardner Funeral Home on Friday February 25th from 6-8pm. Services will be at Southside Church of Christ Saturday, February 26th at 2pm with burial following at Oran Cemetery.
