Wanda Watkins

Wanda LaDain Watkins, 71, of Mineral Wells passed away May 20, 2013 at her residence in Mineral Wells. Visitation will be Wednesday May 22, 2013 from 6-8 P.M. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday May 23, 2013 at Baum Carlock Bumgardner Chapel in Mineral Wells. Burial will follow at Sturdivant Cemetery. LaDain was born July 5, 1941 in Stamford, TX to Jim and Inez (Morgan) Willett. She married Richard Watkins. Ladain's joy in life was being a loving mother and Nana. LaDain and Richard shared a formal renewal of vows on their 50th wedding anniversary and shared 55 years of marriage. Survivors include her husband Richard Watkins, four sons Ricky Watkins and wife Karen, Ronald Watkins and wife Kelly, Randy Watkins and wife Robin, Rory Watkins; one daughter Rhonda Emery and husband James; eleven grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and two sisters, Wilma Collum and Jane Bell.
