Walter Otha Herring

Walter Otha Herring 63 passed away in Weatherford on May 16, 2017 He was born in Scotia, CA. the son of Otha and Loraine (Brady) Herring. Walter graduated from Santo High School where he excelled in Track & Field; in the high jump. His father, Otha said he never saw him open a gate, just always jumped them. Walter proudly served in the U.S. Army.He worked in the Oil & Gas industry as a truck driver but really enjoyed drilling water wells. In his spare time he liked to hunt and fish.Walter is survived by father, Otha Herring; son, Justin and wife Tiffany Herring and daughter Jennifer Herring; grandchildren Haylee and Hynder Herring and Daniel, Joe, Lance and Ira along with numerous cousins and special friends Mac. A. Coalson and PJ Sutton.
