Walter Henry Cathcart

Walter Henry Cathcart, 81, of Mineral Wells, passed away Saturday, September 15, 2018. He was born June 12, 1937 in Little Rock, Arkansas, to Henry and Erma Lawrence Cathcart. Walter retired from the US Army and the City of Mineral Wells Parks and Rec Department.He is survived by his wife, Patsy Cathcart; children, Cindy Chavez and husband Andres, Donna McCoy and husband David, Michael Cathcart and wife Debbie, Teresa Stephens; grandchildren, Jason Brown, Katelynn Cathcart, Natalia Chavez, Andres Chavez, Sr.; great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Chavez, Andres Chavez, Jr., Kobie Cathcart; brother, Paul Hill and wife Kathy; sister-in-law, Beverly Hill; and numerous nieces and nephews.Funeral Services will 10 am, Monday, September 24 at Baum-Carlock Bumgardner Funeral Home. Burial will be 1:30 Monday at DFW National Cemetery. Visitation is 2-4 pm Sunday at the funeral home.
