Following a life wrapped in love of her family, Virginia Uribe, 89 of Millsap, entered Heaven to be with her Lord and Saviour on December 15, 2011 with her loving family beside, Jesus welcomed her home. A Rosary will be Sunday December 18, 2011 from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home. Mass will be Tuesday December 20, 2011 at 10A.M. and burial will follow at Millsap Cemetery. She was born April 28, 1922 in Irapauto, Mexico. The daughter of Jorge and Teresa Uribe who moved their family to Millsap where they became a pioneer family there. She was the oldest of 12 siblings. She saw many changing scenes during her lifetime but the one thing that stayed constant was her family. Virginia led a life that was richly blessed. The Uribe family will cherish the memories of her love for all, which was deeply rooted in Jesus love for her. A devout Catholic, she was a devoted prayer warrior. Her rosary was like a best friend. It was her constant companion as she fulfilled her daily request fro prayer. Anyone who was sick, had loved ones with hardships, or even people who just needed to be uplifted would ask to be put on her prayer list. She prayed without ceasing. She loved to send cards and was so thoughtful about every one she sent. She liked to add her own words of inspiration, and sometimes she would add scripture that fit a particular occasion. It was always worded especially for whoever she was writing. Now she truly is an angel with wings. Left to cherish her memories are; a brother, Eusebio Uribe and wife Sally of Millsap. Two sisters, Adelaide Raetz, of Fort Worth; and Marcella Uribe of Millsap. Numerous nieces and nephews. Loved ones who were there to meet her for her heavenly roll call are; her parents Jorge and Teresa Uribe, brothers; Sabino, Esteban, Tomasito, and John Uribe. Sisters; Celia, Anita, Margarita Uribe, and Mary McAllister. Even though she has gone forever and her hand we cannot touch, we still have such happy memories of someone we loved very much. These visions are our keepsakes, in which we all played a part. Our Lord has her in his divine keeping, we have her forever in our hearts.
