Virginia Gonzales, age 60, passed away peacefully on September 29, 2021 at Medical City of Fort Worth Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
Virginia was born in Mineral Wells, Texas on May 17, 1961, born to Marcus Ornelas Gonzales and Aurora “Aline” Nunez Gonzales.
She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Jeremy San Miguel.
She is survived by her granddaughter, Mariah San Miguel of Mineral Wells, Texas; daughter-in-law, Trina Menchaca of Mineral Wells, Texas; and long-time friend, Julian San Miguel of Mineral Wells, Texas. She is survived by 5 siblings: brothers, Robert (Marsha) Gonzales of Mineral Wells, Gilbert (Melissa) of Grand Prairie; sisters, Linda Moreno of Mineral Wells, Joanne Lashmet of Arlington, and Mary (Edward) of Granbury; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Virginia was a devoted and proud grandmother “Mimi”. She was the youngest of six children and a fun loving sister. She was outgoing, enjoyed hanging with her many friends, enjoyed playing darts, loved country music, dancing, the Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers.
Virginia was a likeable person, never met a stranger and was loved by so many people. She was full of life, laughter and enjoyed having fun. She was beautiful and had such a beautiful smile. She will always be missed and never forgotten. We will love you forever. Until we see you again, rest in peace.
Rosary and followed by Funeral Mass will begin at 10 a.m., Friday, October 8, 2021 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. After service family and friends will go to Palotti Hall for a memorial of the life of Virginia.
