Vanis Lee Knowles

Vanis Lee Knowles 93 of Mineral Wells passed away peacefully and went with his Lord on October 12, 2011. He was the son of John and Della Knowles. Vanis served his country with dignity and pride in the U.S. Army. He worked for many years in the Parks and Recreation department for the City of Mineral Wells. Survivors include his wife of 71 years Frances Knowles; son Wilburn and wife Erika Knowles of Mineral Wells; daughters Edith and husband Gene Cauto of Euless and Janice and husband Ken Busby of Mineral Wells; 7 grandchildren and numerous great and great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by parents and 3 sisters. A service is scheduled for Sunday October 16, 2011 at 2:00 PM in the Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Chapel; burial will follow at Perrin Memorial Gardens.
