Valerie Mayhar

Valerie Lynn Spratlin Mayhar, 43, lost her long courageous battle with cancer on July 27, 2019 at a Fort Worth hospital. She was born July 22, 1976 in Euless, Texas. Valerie was loved by everyone she come in contact with and was employed by Fed Ex. Valerie is survived by her daughters Krisha Hannum and husband James, and Lindsay Mayhar; grandchildren Gabriel Hannum and Rowan Mullen; father Thomas Spratlin; mother Evelyn Pittsinger Spratlin; brother Billy Spratlin, Stephen Spratlin and wife Amber, and Brian Fantry and sister Misty James and husband Matt; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. She also leaves behind many friends she loved dearly. Valerie is preceded in death by her stepmom Wanda Fantry and both sets of grandparents. Funeral services for Valerie will be held 10 a.m., Thursday, August 8, 2019 at Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Chapel with burial following at Sturdivant Cemetery. Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
