Troy John Putt Trevino 50 went to be with Our Heavenly Father on November 5, 2011. He was born September 29, 1961 in Mineral Wells, Texas. The Son of Adelfina Trevino Hernandez and The late John Tom Putt. He was a long time resident of Mineral Wells and a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Troy was a loving, kind, good hearted, generous person who loved his family and loved life. He was a highly skilled hairdresser who was known for his amazing, unique designs and creative cuts and colors. His artistic techniques were recognized by numerous hair salons such as; Regis, New Image, Reflections, Charlsie's Hair Gallery and he did many hair shows in San Angelo and Austin TX. He took the art of hairdressing to the next level. His other occupation included being a top notch server for restaurants such as; Hyatt, The Cliffs Resort, Marsala's Italian Restaurant and El Paseo. He was very professional and carried himself with class. Troy was also known and recognized by many for the art of "Drag". He performed drag glamorously and did many runway shows also mentoring numerous others along the way. He was considered a "Fierce Diva". He loved his plants and animals and was often seen saving baby birds by feeding them and nursing them back to health just to see them flyaway. He especially loved raising chickens, sometimes dying the baby chicks' hair pastel colors for Easter. Troy was a country boy at heart and loved his momma. He was a loving son, a wonderful brother and a great friend to many. He knew The Lord and respected life. His unique laugh will never be forgotten. His loving spirit will live forever and may he fly with The Angels. He is survived by his mother Adelfina Trevino Hernandez, Brother Isaac Jason Hernandez, Sisters Gail Hernandez and Maurilio Hernandez, Tina Hernandez Villegas, Sarah Trevino Gonzales, Elizabeth Hernandez Estes, Monica Hernandez, and close dear friends Sammie Drummer and Thomas Jo Cato. Nephews Jose Cruz Velasquez, Marcus Anthony Galvan, Reynaldo Inez Hernandez, Vincent Michael Hernandez, Serjio Castillo, Antonio Villegas, Ivan Villegas, Moses Ozzy Menchaca Jr., Adrian Joshua Menchaca, Christian Menchaca, Maximino Nino, Alex Hernandez, Drake Aric Hernandez, Jovan Ramirez, Nieces Marissa Felipa Velasquez, Erica Ann Velasquez, Vanessa Kay Hernandez, Destiny Monique Hernandez, Cecilia Maria Perez, Victoria Gonzales, and Natalia Gonzales. He was preceded in death by his Father John Tom Putt, Grandfather Longino Trevino, Grandmother Guadalupe Perez Trevino, Cousins Mario Rendon, Linda Rendon, Lauro Rendon, and Jesse Jenkins. The Rosary will be 6 PM Friday, November 11, 2011 at the funeral home. Mass is 9:30 AM Saturday, November 12, 2011 at Our Lady of Lourdes Worship Center. Burial will follow in Woodland Park Cemetery.
