Thomas James Royer, 80, passed away April 29, 2009 in a Wichita Falls hospital. He was born February 3, 1929 in Mineral Wells the son of Carl and Bessie Lee Dodd Royer. He married Reva Ballard on November 3, 1952 in Mineral Wells. He was a longtime resident of Jacksboro and a Baptist. He was a veteran of the US Army having served in the Korean War. He was a hard working man and loved his family. Services will be 2 PM Friday, May 1, 2009 in the Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Chapel with Rev. Earl Royer officiating. Burial will follow in Dark Corner Cemetery. He is survived by his wife: Reva Royer of Jacksboro, sons and daughters-in-law: Robert Bee and Cindy Royer of Jacksboro, Tommy Irwin and Bonita Royer of Mineral Wells, 9 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, sister: Dora Madge Norman of Florida, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters, and 5 brothers.
