Theodore Wooten Jr. 68, of Fort Worth died Saturday March 2, 2013 in Fort Worth. Funeral services will be Saturday, March 9th , at 11am at SE 6th Ave Church of Christ. Internment at Woodland Park Cemetery. Theodore was born June 26, 1944 in Cairo, GA the son of Theodore Sr. and Geneva Maxwell Wooten. Theodore graduated from Dunbar High School in Mineral Wells. He attended Prairie View University where he earned a Bachelor's in Economics and was a member of Gama Theta Upsilon. He later attended the Air force Institute of Technology to further his economics education. Theodore served in the US Army. In July of 1983 He went to work for the United States Government at the Department of Defense working there until July of 2006 the last 4 years for Lockheed Martin in Fort Worth. Mr. Wooten is preceded in death by his parents Theodore Sr. and Geneva Maxwell Wooten and two brothers Howard Wooten and Ricky Wooten. Theodore leaves to mourn his passing two brothers Michael Wooten and Gary Wooten both of Houston. 5 sisters Barbara Palmer of Brookshire, Carolyn Francois of Mineral Wells, Geneva Massey of Fort Worth, Sherry Wooten of Fort Worth and Connie Wooten of Dallas, and a host of cousins, Nieces, Nephews and friends.
