Thelma Lee Ramsey

Thelma Lee Ramsey, 98, passed away January 15, 2009 in a Bryan nursing home. She was born May 10, 1910 in Oran the daughter of J. P. and Mary Hall Wilson. She married C. B. Ramsey on September 2, 1932 in Perrin and he preceded her in death on January 2, 2000. She was a member of the Second Baptist Church in Memphis, Tennessee, and taught in public school and private kindergarten for over 30 years. Burial will be in Perrin Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Memorial services will be 4 PM Wednesday, January 21, 2009 in the Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Annex with Rev. James Bond officiating. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law: Charles and Carole Ramsey of Bryan, Ronald and Cheryl Ramsey of Chelsea, Alabama, 4 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and a host of other family and friends.
