Theata Malicoat

Theata Lois Malicoat, 89, of Mineral Wells passed away Saturday September 7, 2013 at a local care center. Funeral Services will be Tuesday September 10, 2013 at Baum Carlock Bumgardner Funeral Home Chapel. No formal visitation is planned. Burial will be at Woodland Park Cemetery. Theata was born February 11, 1924 in Sterling, Oklahoma to John and Lurena Lunsford Malicoat. She was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church and was very active with the Mineral Wells Senior Center. During World War II she worked in a war factory. She worked as a Lab Technician at American Optical where she made eyeglasses. Sewing was her passion. Theata is preceded in death by her parents, 3 sisters, 6 brothers and numerous nieces and nephews. She is survived by 9 nephews and 7 nieces.
