Terry Lee Blakley

Terry Lee Blakley, age 69, died on April 7, 2016 at the Palo Pinto General Hospital in Mineral Wells, TX. Mr. Blakley is survived by his wife, Joyce, two children, Danny Joe Blakley and Krystal Blakley Lankford. He also leaves behind five grandchildren, Nickki, Heather, Amber, Samantha and Timothy, and four great-grandchildren. His son Terry Lee Blakley Jr. preceded him in death. Terry grew up in Altus, Oklahoma; the son of Roy and Irma Allsup Blakley. He met Joyce Peretto in Olustee, Oklahoma and married in Vernon, Texas on July 8, 1963. During their 52 years of marriage, Terry served honorably in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He also retired from the Union Pacific Railroad. Terry has been a Palo Pinto County resident for over 43 years. A memorial service will be held this Monday, April 11, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Gospel Light Baptist Church, 601 Country Club Parkway, Mineral Wells, TX.
