Terry Wayne Blakeley

Terry Wayne Blakeley, 65, passed away July 10, 2021. He was born February 18, 1956 in Mineral Wells, Texas. Terry married Melanie Dugan on December 17, 1977 in Mineral Wells, Tx. He was a long-time member of the Mineral Wells Church of God. Terry worked for Northridge Oil Company for many years and the Mineral Wells Stockyards from 1989-2014 and the Graham Livestock Commission from 2014-2021. He was a Farmer/Rancher who bought, sold and raised horses and cattle. Those who knew him will agree he will be remembered as a “trader of all things!’

He deeply loved his family and friends. He made a great and lasting impact on the lives of so many. He will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents Joe and Johnnie Blakeley; brother, Joe Mike Blakeley; and sister, Barthina Smart.

Survivors include his wife, Melanie Blakeley of Mineral Wells, Tx; son, Chris Blakeley & wife Leanna of Cisco, Tx; grandchildren, Cagan Blakeley of Graford Tx, Madison Blakeley of Cisco, Tx, Damian Walls of Cisco Tx; and Chelsea Walls and Gideon Doria of Abilene, Tx; great granddaughter, Amelia Doria of Abilene, Tx; brother Randy Blakeley and wife Maryann of Perrin, Tx; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation will be held Monday from 6-8 p.m. at Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Home. A Homegoing Celebration will be held 2 p.m., Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at Mineral Wells Church of God with Pastor Jerrel Tomlin officiating. Pallbearers will be Michael Blakeley, Steven Smart, Kolten Gonzales, Taylor Mahaney, Allen Wilkinson, and Rowdy York. Honorary pallbearers will be Cagan Blakeley and Damian Walls.
