Teresa Jean Piercey-Gates, 54, passed away September 14, 2011 at her home in Mineral Wells. She was born December 13, 1956 in Independence, Missouri the daughter of George Gwinn and Shirley Jean Stallins Piercey. She had lived in Mineral Wells most of her life and was a member of West Side Baptist Church. She was a Critical Communications Specialist in the National Guard and served in the ROTC while in high school. She is survived by her mother: Shirley Stallins of Mineral Wells, sons: Robert Gwinn Hardee of Lipan, Kenneth Hardee of Mineral Wells, daughter: Jesseca Diane Hardee of Fort Worth, sisters: Nancy Bolin of Fort Worth, Ava Peterson of Wisconsin, brother: Steven Johnson of Mineral Wells, numerous grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and adopted children: Marie, Laura Kay, Jessee Douglas, and Jemesia. She was preceded in death by her father, adopted son: Lee David Collins, great-granddaughter: Traci Lynn, and nephew: Steven Watkins.
