Sybil Jeanne Sparks

Sybil Jeanne Sparks, 78, passed away April 28, 2010 in a Mineral Wells hospital. She was born September 21, 1931 in Wichita Falls the daughter of Carroll and Ethel Adkins Givens. She was a longtime resident of Mineral Wells. She married Alfred J. Sparks on September 25, 1947 in Wichita Falls. Services will be 10 AM Monday, May 3, 2010 in the Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Chapel with Rev. Charles Mays officiating. Burial will follow in Bishop Cemetery. She is survived by her children: Myrna Uribe of Millsap, Mark Sparks of Mineral Wells, Melody Carlyle of Mineral Wells, grandchildren: Brittany Johnson, Stacee Dickey, and Trevor Calderon, great-granddaughter: Daysee, and sisters-in-law: Jeanie Givens of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Betty Whittington of Mineral Wells. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband on August 1, 2000, and her son: Marshall Sparks on July 13, 1999.
