Sue Nell Duncan

Sue Nell Harris Duncan passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at her home. She was born March 9, 1953 in Jacksboro. Sue was a graduate of Mineral Wells High School Class of 1971. She married her high school sweetheart, Scott Duncan, on November 21, 1970. Sue started her nursing adventure as a Nurse’s Aide prior to graduating high school then went onto LVN School. While working she completed her BSN and continued to grow as a Certified Operating Room Nurse and Certified RN First Assistant. She worked over 40 years with Dr. J.P. Reddy and the PPGH Family. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Survivors include her husband, Scott Duncan; son, Chris Duncan and wife, Kristine; grandchildren, Alyssa/Brady , Jace, Parker/Tyler and Trinity; two great grandchildren, Everlynn and Jameson; mother, Nell Harris; sister, Cindy Whisenhunt and husband Don; sister-in-law , Joyce Schlief and husband Gene; brother-in-law, Craig Duncan and wife BJ; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Sue was preceded in death by her father, Deryl Harris and her in-laws, George and Aggie Duncan.

Funeral services are 2 p.m., Saturday, March 7, 2020 at Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Home. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to service. Burial will be at Staggs Prairie Cemetery.
