Sophi Marie Reasoner

Sophia Marie Reasoner, 77, passed away April 25, 2011 in a Fort Worth hospital. She was born November 21, 1933 in Cleburne the daughter of Jessie M. and Lorena Wilson Whitley. She married Wesley Alvis Reasoner on October 11, 1951 in Johnson County. She was a longtime resident of Gordon and a member of the First Baptist Church there. Services will be 2 PM Thursday, April 28, 2011 at the First Baptist Church of Gordon with Rev. David Baze officiating. Burial will follow in New Gordon Cemetery. Visitation is Wednesday from 6-8 PM in the annex of the funeral home. She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law: Sue and Johnny Andreatta of Santo, Kay Reasoner of Gordon, grandchildren and spouses: Shauna and Curtis Hastings of Saginaw, Rodney Andreatta of Santo, Alicia Stanford of Granbury, Erica and Mikey Lira of Fort Worth, John and Brittany Stegall of Gordon, great-grandchildren: Bailey, Abigail, Zain, Gabe, Kale, Eli, and Lucas on the way, sisters and brothers-in-law: Genna and Charles Vincent of Alvarado, Barbara Wilson of Glen Rose, Alice Ratliff of Carthage, Jerri and Charley Ledbetter of Joshua, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband on September 2, 1984, and a brother: J. M. Whitley.
