In Loving Memory of Sonia Colleen Panther

Sonia, a beloved mother, daughter, and sister, passed away on December 21, 2023 in Mineral Wells, Texas. She leaves behind a legacy of warmth, kindness, and cherished memories.

Sonia was born on October 10, 1972 to Alfred Wayne and Sherry Smith Robertson in Mineral Wells, Texas. She spent her younger years in Mineral Wells and later moved to Altus, Oklahoma with her parents. She graduated from high school in Tulsa, Oklahoma. In May of 1999, she married Paul Panther. He preceded her in death on December 24, 2020. 

Family was at the center of Sonia’s world. She is survived by her children Ryan and Kaylee Panther, mother Sherry Robertson, brother Jerry Robertson and wife Patricia, her loving aunt Linda Whitehouse who helped care for her during her illness, nieces, nephews, and numerous cousins who will forever cherish the memories of her unwavering love. She will be greatly missed by extended family.

Visitation will be held Friday, December 29th, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Baum Carlock Bumgardner funeral home. A graveside service will be held at Staggs Prairie Cemetery on Saturday, December 30th, at 2:00 p.m., where friends and family will gather to celebrate Sonia's life.
