Shirley Bailey

Shirley "Jeanne" Bailey, 78, of Mineral Wells went to be with her Heavenly Father on March 27, 2016. She passed away at home with her family by her side. She was born April 27, 1937 in Quinlan, Texas the daughter of L. L. and Selma Stewart. She worked many years at Philips Components and retired from MWISD where she worked at the high school library. She loved visiting with family and friends and made new friends wherever she went. She was a very strong woman and loved to laugh and joke. She will be extremely missed by all who loved and knew her. Services will be 10 AM Wednesday, March 30, 2016 in the Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Chapel. Burial will follow in Rock Creek Cemetery. Visitation is Tuesday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. She is survived by her brother: Don Stewart and wife Bobbie of Cedar Hill, brother: James Stewart and friend Nita of San Antonio, 3 children, daughter: Donna Blair of White Settlement, daughter: Kim and husband Johnny Hand of San Antonio, and son: Troy Blair and wife: Meg of Robert Lee, four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister: Peggy, and husband Delton.
