Sherry L. Coats

Sherry L. Coats, 64, passed away December 28, 2011 in a Mineral Wells hospital. She was born April 13, 1947 in Centerville, Texas. She married John D. Coats on November 19, 1971 in Centerville, Texas. She moved to Mineral Wells on October 16, 1998 and was a member of Southside Church of Christ. She had served in the Eastern Star for many years and held many offices. Services will be 4 PM Saturday, December 31, 2011 at Southside Church of Christ with William Eudy officiating. Burial will be 2 PM Tuesday, January 3, 2012 in the Lubbock City Cemetery. Visitation is Friday from 7-9 PM at the funeral home. She is survived by her husband: John D. Coats, daughters: Jennifer Coats Greer and husband Russell, Jaymie Coats Hernandez and husband Juan, grandchildren: Ryan, Jobie, Leiloni, and Josiah Greer, Noah, Riley, and Jaylyn Hernandez, and nieces: Stephanie Polek and Paula Lynch. She was preceded in death by her best friend: Rita Coats.
