Sherri Selena McGinnis

Sherri Selena McGinnis left this world on Monday, October 17, 2022, at the age of 60. She was born November 18, 1961 in Ballinger, Texas.

Sherri was a devoted mother and grandmother who lived for her family and their happiness. There was nothing more important in her life than seeing and spending time with her kids and grandkids. She loved going on trips with them and took pride in being able to provide for them. Sherri was always smiling and teaching her kids to always be positive no matter the situation. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Horace, Sr. and Frances McGinnis and her father, Horace McGinnis, Jr.

Survivors include her son, Brandon McGinnis and wife Brandy; daughter, Sara Mendez and husband Johnathan; grandchildren, Brailey, Braylon, Kinzley Ava McGinnis, Preston, Liam, and Lakelyn Mendez; mother, Odell McGinnis; brothers, Bodie and Allen McGinnis; sister, Scarlette McGinnis; nieces and nephews, Crystal Forbes, Kassidy Morgan, and Taylor Morgan.

Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Saturday, October 22, 2022 at Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Woodland Park Cemetery.
