Sharla Sue Cox

Sharla Sue Cox, 72, passed away September 18, 2013 in a Fort Worth hospital. She was born November 19, 1940 in Winslow, Indiana the daughter of Prentis and Mildred Hume Selby. She married Gary Cox in 1961. She was a longtime resident of Mineral Wells. She was a Non- Denominational Christian. She worked at Wal-Mart. Services will be 2 PM Saturday, September 21, 2013 in the Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Chapel. Burial will follow in Poe Prairie Cemetery. Visitation is Friday from 6-8 PM in the funeral home annex. She is survived by her children: Jerry Cox of Saginaw, Brent Cox of Mineral Wells, Rick Cox of Mineral Wells, Christina Rainey of Mineral Wells, 18 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and siblings: Alan Selby of Indiana, Sharon Hayden of Indiana, Daine Bolin of Lone Camp, Vonda Nichols of Indiana, and Lex Selby of Indiana. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 2008, and her sister: Janey Rainey.
