Sgt. J. Jared Savage

Sgt. J. Jared Savage, 26, of Mineral Wells, died serving our country on Thursday, December 4th, 2008 in Mosul, Iraq, on his second tour. Funeral services will be 2 pm Saturday, December 13 at the Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Chapel. Services will include full military honors.Jared was born March 4, 1982, in Peaster, Texas. He joined the U.S. Army in 2000.He is survived by his mother, Jaclyn Park of Mineral Wells; sisters, and brother-in-law, Joenell and Randy West of Mineral Wells and Jamie Senecal of Mineral Wells; daughter, Nicole Jean Savage of Whitt; six nieces and nephews, Joplyn, Janae, Corban, Ryan, Kanah and Joseph; several aunts, uncles and cousins.In keeping with Jared's wishes, donations may be sent to the Veteran's Relief Fund, c/o Mineral Wells Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2399, 1400 Veterans of Foreign Wars St., Mineral Wells, TX 76067 in lieu of flowers.
