Scott Tate Pendergraft, Jr

On March 19, 2021 at 8:35 p.m. Scott Tate Pendergraft, Jr., 77, passed away at his home in Graford. He was born at home in Fortune Bend on January 22, 1944. Scott loved spending time with his family, going fishing at the river and creek, deer hunting, taking care of his cows and chickens, and worshiping Jesus every Sunday. He was preceded in death by his parents, Doc and Ozella Pendergraft; sister, Billy Cane; sister-in-law, Kathie and Gene Overcash; father and mother-in-law, Ben and Rita Allen.

Scott is survived by wife, Linda Pendergraft; daughters, Renee Richardson and husband Daniel of Graford, Tammy Laney and Todd Shepard of Graford; son Jeffery Pendergraft of Graford; brother, Kenneth Pendergraft and wife Mary of Graford; sister, Claudine McGuire of Graham; grandkids, Dustin Parker and Vanessa, Chelsie Wharton and husband Trevor, Shelbie Oliver and husband Kenneth, Bubba Smith and wife Haley, Lacy Pippin and husband Scott, Kyndze Pendergraft and Tatem Pendergraft; great-grandkids, Kason, Christian, Greyson, Tate, Alex, Junior, Nevaeh, Kamdyn, Kambreigh, Cutter, Teigan, Carly, Canynn, Raelynn Landyn, Brantlee, Bellanee, and Kyndzlee; sisters-in-laws, Joyce Box and husband Dale and Kay Box and husband Alvin; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at Graford United Methodist Church, 225 West Division, Graford, Tx. Burial will follow at LuQueen Cemetery.
