Sandra Vinson

Sandra Merritt Vinson, 69, passed away September 30, 2015 in Mineral Wells. She was born February 1, 1946 in Yakima, Washington the daughter of Lloyd and Yvonne Compton Wyatt. She married Joe Merritt Sr. in 1964 in Locust Grove, Oklahoma and he preceded her in death on September 11, 1988. She married Jimmy Vinson in 1990 in Ranger and he preceded her in death on July 2, 2011. Graveside services will be 2 PM Sunday October 4, 2015 at Sturdivant Cemetery. She is survived by her children and spouses: Joanna and Glenn Mitchell of Mineral Wells, Joe Jr. and Michelle Merritt of Mineral Wells, grandchildren: William Mitchell, James Mitchell, Rachel Merritt, Madison Merritt, and Candie Cliett and husband Garrett, 2 great-grandchildren, sister and brother-in-law: Marie and Albert Tatyrek of Arkansas, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents. She loved to attend and participate in the Palo Pinto County Fair. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Palo Pinto County Livestock Association or the Mineral Wells Senior Center in her memory.
