Samuel Warren Murray

Samuel Warren Murray, 80, passed away December 21, 2017 in Weatherford. He was born December 6, 1937 in Atoka County, Oklahoma the son of Ben and Lora Henninger Murray. He married Linda Jennings on March 14, 1958 in Fort Worth. He was a longtime resident of Santo and attended the Santo United Methodist Church. He was a past member of the CWA. Services will be 2 PM Wednesday, December 27, 2017 in the Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Chapel. Burial will follow in Woodland Park Cemetery. Visitation is Wednesday from 1-2 PM at the funeral home prior to the service. He is survived by his wife: Linda Murray of Santo, children and spouses: Don and Deanna Murray of Santo, Dianne and Sam Yarbrough of Temple, Darrel and Karen Murray of Morgan Mill, grandchildren: Michael, Jennifer, Jason, Kelley, Luke, Melissa and Ryan Eubank, Sarah, and Andrew, great-grandchildren: Hailey, and Thomas, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and 5 siblings. Just a brief summary with a world of love and stories woven in it's midst. He was devoted to family and friends and will be greatly missed. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or the Salvation Army in his memory.
