Samuel Ricky Ellis

Samuel Richard "Ricky" Ellis, age 68, passed away on August 7, 2024 in a Mineral Wells Nursing Home. He was born on April 6, 1956 in Weatherford, TX to Samuel and Nona Fulton Ellis.

Ricky was a glazer where he worked in his dad's glass business until his dad retired. From there he went on to work for various glass companies.

Ricky loved children, especially the little ones and animals. He also loved his family. He really enjoyed his candy, coca colas, and Little Debbie treats, Golden Chick tenders and poppers. Before his stroke he was an avid reader.

Ricky is survived by his brother Ronny Ellis of Fort Worth, sister Sue Patterson and husband Buba of Mineral Wells, daughter Kelsey Starr of Mineral Wells. He also is survived: by nephews Steve Ellis, Las Vegas; Blake Patterson, Hawaii, Duell Patterson, Brock; Uncle Danny Simmons, Fort Worth; and Aunt Pat Ellis, Florida. Also, great nephew Tyce Patterson; great nieces Blaklee and Rhythmn Patterson of Hawaii; great nieces Braylie and Addie Patterson of Brock; along with numerous cousins.
