Ruben Banda, Sr

Ruben Banda, Sr., loving father and grandfather passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2020. He was born December 26, 1951 in Wichita Falls, Texas. Ruben worked for the City of Mineral Wells in the Water Department for nearly 27 years. Ruben had the biggest heart, he was a hard working man who took care of his family like no other. He was preceded in death by his dad, Pete E. Banda; brother, Pete Banda, Jr., girlfriend of over 20 years, Linda Beaird. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Ruben in survived by his mom, Jannie Banda; sister, Isabelle Cobos; children, Deborah Falcon and husband Andy, Michelle Sandoval, Ruben Banda, Jr.; grandchildren, Dakota Falcon, Wichita Falcon, Utah Falcon, Prescott Falcon, Tyler Brown, Ethan Banda, Shannon Banda, Justice Banda, Bryson Banda, Adam Banda and Tyshann Aparicio; 15 great-grandchildren; the mother of his children, Chita Banda; step-daughter, Pamela Flores; and longtime friend, Donnita.

A Rosary will be held 6:30 p.m., Friday at Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Saturday, June 6 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with burial following at Woodland Park Cemetery.
