Royce Edward Jordan

Royce Edward Jordan 82 of Mineral Wells passed away at his home on May 27, 2014. Royce was born in Altus, Oklahoma; the son of James and Minnie (Rogers) Jordan. He moved to the Newberry area around 10 years of age with his family and has lived there ever since. He earned a honest living from a hard day's work as a farmer. Royce enjoyed being out side and working with his hands. He leaves behind nephew Teddy and wife Tammy White, their children; Cassie and Kayla White, Tiffany and husband Jake VanZant and their children Eli, Jimma and Joy; nephew Bobby White and his children Brandon, Brandi White and Jenifer Copeland and her children Stephanie, Lexy, Hope and Wendy andnephew James White along with numerous cousins. Royce was preceded in death by parents, and a sister Jimma Ruth Jordan McFall.The family will be visiting with friends from 6-8pm Friday May 30, 2014 in the funeral home annex. Funeral service is scheduled for Saturday May 31, 2014 10am at Newberry Presbyterian Church; burial will follow at Newberry Cemetery.
