Roy Barnett

Roy Lee Barnett, 63, passed away October 8, 2009 at his home in Mineral Wells. He was born January 11, 1946 in Mineral Wells the son of John William and Gertrude Laura Sanders Barnett. He married Sonia Wilson on April 17, 1965 in Fort Worth. He was a lifetime resident of Mineral Wells. Services will be 10 AM Sunday, October 11, 2009 in the Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Chapel. Burial will follow in Woodland Park Cemetery. Visitation is Saturday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. He is survived by his sons and daughter-in-law: Roy Edward Barnett, Randy and Destiny Barnett, daughters and sons-in-law: Laura and Allen Carter, Dorothy and Ted Madsen, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, brothers: Charles and Lewis Barnett, sisters: Ruby Bottorff all of Mineral Wells, Minnie Green of Gainesville, Norma Jean Dinwiddy of Mineral Wells, and numerous other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife on March 15, 1993, daughter: Deborah Barnett, granddaughter, and a grandson.
