Rosemary Passons, 85, was reunited with her beloved husband, brother and mother onSeptember 22,2013. Rosemary was born January 2, 1928, in Mineral Wells to Widdie andEllis Carter. She was married to Ray Passons for 41years prior to his passing in 1989. Rosemarystarted her career as a telephone operator, was co-owner of South Side Grocery in Mineral Wellsand Ray's Trading & Service Station Post at Possum Kingdom Lake prior to their retirement in1968. She and Ray traveled the USA in their motor home until the birth of their grandsons atwhich time they moved back to Mineral Wells.In 1996 she moved to Fort Worth next door to her daughter and grandsons. She volunteered atHarris Methodist South West Hospital for over 11 years in the gift shop and for fundraisers for atotal of 7200 volunteer hours.She will be missed for now but greatly loved by her daughter Glenda R. Ostrokol, Fort Worth,grandsons: Michael Ostrokol (Robyn) of Roanoke, Matthew Ostrokol & wife Jesslyn of BalchSprings; Niece, JoAnn Voigt (who helped take care of her the past 2 years) Bobbie Southerland,aunt, nieces, nephews and extended family. A Special thanks to all the loving staff at AutumnLeaves, a very special thanks for all the loving care from Alicia, Niama, Tanya, and Jason.Grace Hopsice , LaToya,for the great care that she provided her.. In her final days to thewonderful caring nurse from Stillwell Staffing, Dana and Daniel.Visitation will be Tuesday at 10:00 AM at Baum Carlock Bumgardner of Mineral Wells.Graveside services will be at 11:00AM at Woodland Park Cemetery in Mineral Wells.In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Grace Hospice (817) 238-3345 or The American Cancer Society.
