Ronnie "De Wayne" Booth

Today we lost a son, husband, brother and great friend, Ronnie De Wayne Booth. He went to be with our Lord on March 26, 2020, after a battle with cancer.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m., Wednesday, April 1, 2020 at Woodland Park Cemetery.

De Wayne was born May 27, 1968 in Fort Worth. De Wayne graduated from Mineral Wells High School class of 1986. Throughout adulthood he worked at Mineral Wells Index, Cantex and Ja-Mak until he became sick. De Wayne loved music and knew just about anything you would want to know about any songs.

He was a kind and grateful guy.

Survivors include his wife of 12 years, Arlene Villorejo Booth; his favorite little companion, Sadie; parents, Ronnie and Marge Booth of Willow Park and Janet and Richard Taylor of Mineral Wells; sister, Shanna Taylor Heldt and husband Richard of Weatherford; brother, Kevin King and wife Crystal of Valley View; his Nanny, Helen Shawver of Weatherford; and a special aunt, Carol Lindsey of Weatherford; special cousin, Rex Hendrick of Weatherford; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

De Wayne was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles and Bernice King, J.D. “Papa D” Booth, and cousin, James Hensley. De Wayne will be missed greatly.
